Troup Square

Troup Square was laid out in 1851. A large iron armillary sphere stands in the center of the square, supported by six small metal turtles. The Myers Drinking Fountain was moved from another Savannah Square and adjusted for canine use (bowls were added to the base). The square and the fountain has become the site of the annual Blessing the Animals.
